Yes I am back again.
However, I got a chance to read about an article on the internet from a blogger named iangalsm (to be honest, I don't know his real name but that is his blog name)
He pointed out about the reasons why gay relationships don't last long (follow his article here)
The article drove me to the full level of motivation to write this blog. I stopped doing what I was doing after reading the article and came here to write this entry.
Ian has said in the intelligent way and it is right to the point. While I was reading, the first thing that came across in my mind was "gay relationships in Bangkok" and here I am. I would so much like to integrate his article to explain about how a lot of beautiful castles end here. ( there are a lot of interesting articles on his blog maybe you guys want to try to read some as it is not only for asian-white gay people but it's for every gay on this planet earth)
Alright so the first thing he was pointing it out was about
Well, I would say that today the world runs so fast - along with new and intelligent technology - and we, gay, know that especially those who use smartphone a must-have app called Grindr.
If you are a Grindr user and also westerner, you will find out how popular you can be here in the city of life. Dating applications are double-edged swords for gay relationship, tho I still don't get the idea of having those apps while in relationship with someone when you know that it is a "dating" app.
It is much easier to find hook-up here than to find 7-11. I believe it is around 60% of the heartbreaking stories I heard from my friends about their relationships have gay applications involving. Personally, I have stopped using it for ages. Also we have this funny story about "Sex date" kind of thing going on here.
There is also a story about a guy who accidentally became someone's sex date while he thought that it was a relationship and when everything went to the point of "boredom" from the other guy, it changed from the paradise to hell.
It is actually so sad for me that hooking up is easier to find than love.
When you are in a relationship you will surely enjoy every bit of it. Some of you might make it so beautifully at the first couple of months but when it's over you come to think what is wrong and then you blame on the other as the one who ruined it.
There is something called "space" in a good relationship. Remember, I was talking about Mr. know it all before? (Follow this)
This is one of the reasons why the relationship between asian and westerner don't succeed so well. It is not really a happy relationship when the other is selfish. Of course, relationship is all about sharing but I didn't mean for you to share everything. There is limit. Still, I think relationship is all about 2 people who understand each other and "care" about each other before it grows to "love"
The reason I described Bangkok as lake is because if you notice you will be able to see that Gay scene here isn't that big and people know people. However, there are always new fish coming to this lake for you to catch with no limit.
This is another sad thing to know about relationship. Honesty and trust are what should be in a good relationship but once the other is still looking for a better options, then there is no ends of this ugly chain.
Well, there are 2 more reasons on his blog but I would like to emphasize on these 3 reasons as I think they are really essential for healthy relationship.
My entry is really short as I have to go back to continue my task but I hope it will give at least a handful information :)
